About Us

What began as a request from our clients, has now become a dream of much needed intentional time away from the daily grind of life.
To Rest, to be Rooted, to find Restoration.
In 2024, Sheila and Leslie both had been running their own private practices for several years, seeing clients regularly in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, and feeling fulfilled with the work they were providing. It seemed like timing was just right for both of them to expand the work they were offering. They were both approached on separate occasions to see if there was interest in running retreats or workshops. After a few conversations together of visualizing what that could be and how to best help support clients to integrate therapy out of the office and into life, Peace of Soul Retreats was born.
Our mission is still the same as it began. To find creative ways to help people connect inwardly so that they can best show up in the world as their most authentic self. We’ve found through these retreats and day workshops, people have more permission to nurture themselves and find emotional stability so that they can then return to their lives more connected than ever.
If this is something you feel your heart is connecting to, we’d love to hear from you.
Our Philosophy.
As 2 licensed clinical therapists, Leslie and Sheila have both learned deeply about what it takes to support clients through a variety of emotional experiences. Whether it be moments of great difficulty such as loss and grief, transitions in life from birth to marriages to divorces, or moments of celebration from parenting wins to new jobs to exciting moves. They’ve been able to witness so much and through it all, both have remained consistent in grounding clients in the present moment to be able to fully experience what is happening right in front of them. Through their combination of western psychology and eastern philosophy clients gain more capacity to be in the here and now. Whole person and body psychology, yoga and meditation are all the tenets of their teachings and guide their work with clients.
Retreats are truly a time and experience that offers a relief from the day to day stress so that more intentionality can be offered in the internal work. We now live in a world where people are yearning for more connection, to themselves and others. That is what our retreats offer. A opportunity of connection through support and care so you can be with whatever you need to be with. If you are craving a more authentic life that allows you to then step into the world as you would like to be, then our retreats are for you.
Rest as you need to know there is nothing left to do but be.
Root yourself in the present moment.
Restore your mind, body, and soul to connect with your most authentic self.
